Eaton-SAMC (Shanghai) Aircraft Conveyance System Manufacturing Co. Ltd. ("ESJV") is a joint venture created by Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd. ("SAMC") which is a subsidiary of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. ("COMAC"), and Eaton (China) Investment Co., Ltd. (Eaton) which is a subsidiary of EATON Group ("EATON U.S.A"). ESJV is mainly engaged in the design, development, integration, manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, test of and technical support for conveyance systems and components of commercial aircraft.  ESJV also provides MRO services including inspection, test, repair, maintenance, modification and overhaul of fuel, hydraulic and motion control systems of commercial aircraft and components.
ESJV is located at 71 Jinliang Road, Zhuqiao Town, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, close to Pudong International Airport and Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd., with convenient transportation. Covering a land area of 26,680 square meters with a floorage of almost 20,000 square meters, it has a designed production capacity of 300,000 tubes per year. The capacity of its duct repair workshop is about 10,000 tubes per year, and the capability of pump and valve repair workshop is about 2,000 pieces per year. The registered capital of the company is USD 68 million.
As a joint venture and cooperation platform of two world-famous companies, ESJV is mainly engaged in the design, development, manufacturing of and technical support for hydraulic & fuel conveyance systems of commercial aircraft. Since its establishment, ESJV has completed the design, production and certification support for C919 hydraulic & fuel inerting conveyance system and C909 inerting conveyance system. The company owns 29 patents and full manufacturing testing capabilities for aircraft conveyance components from simple hydraulic tubes to complex fuel inerting tubes. It has AS9100 and NADCAP (for Welding, NonDestructive Testing - Penetrant Testing, Heat Treating, Chemical Processing, Fluid Distribution Systems, NonDestructive Testing - Radiographic Testing) certificates.
ESJV also provides maintenance services for the conveyance, fuel, hydraulic, and motion control systems and their components of commercial aircraft (including engines).  It has obtained maintenance licenses from CAAC, FAA, and EASA. Now it has become a maintenance partner for tubes, pump and valve accessories of many domestic airlines, airframe and engine maintenance companies.
